Thank you for visiting our website and welcome to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center’s Family Medicine Residency Program, an academic affiliate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine

Set in an urban inner-city environment, our program is committed to caring for the underserved diverse communities we serve. We are driven by the mission of providing care that is equitable, inclusive and evidence-based and addresses all of our patient’s health needs. Our Residents are equally committed to this mission, dedicated to their own training, supportive of each other and willing to challenge themselves daily. Our enthusiastic and energetic  Faculty,  each with their own area of expertise, is devoted to teaching our Residents and continuing to foster the ideals of our profession.

Our program has maximal accreditation with Osteopathic Recognition.   In addition to our program’s experience in urban health care and deep-seated reputation of excellence in our community, our Residents also benefit from the resources and clinical training opportunities available through our affiliation with one of New York’s major academic medical centers.

We guarantee you a residency experience that actively supports you and prepares you to thrive in any medical setting. Our graduates leave us fully prepared to meet the challenges posed by our changing healthcare system.
